WINTER CLIMBING.
NGAURUHOE AND TONGARIRO. ASCENT FROM THE CHATEAU. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] THE CHATEAU, Saturday. A winter ascent of Mounts Ngauruhoe and Tongariro, in 11 hours from the Chateau, was' made by Mr. Jones and Mr. J. Townseud, of Wanganui, and Mr. C. Standage, of tho Chateau, led by a guide, Mr. Krist Rcnfren.
