• One or two large cauliflowers, 21b 5. onions, cut small, lib. salt, dissolved in '■ boiling water, enough to cover vegetables. Let stand all night. Next morning, bring I to the boil, then drain all water oft. leaspoonful cayenne pepper and mix into -thick paste with vinegar, thon add three qunrts of vinegar when boiling, add vegetables, and lot boil for 10 minutes or quarter of an hour. Taste to see if sweet enough, and if too thick add more vinogar.
