spirit of Parliament

Voitch, Minister of Railways, at tbo "Anniversary Day" gathering of (ho Auckland Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association last evening. Many people who entered the galleries of Parliinent and heard the "fights" going on thought that tlio members were bitter enemies. Bu' this was not so, and tliero was not a man in the House whom (ho speaker regarded with animosity or ill-will. Because tbo members differed in opinion was no reason why they should not bo friends.
