ESCAPE FROM PRISON.
YOUTH STEALS RACEHORSE. EVASION OF RECAPTURE. SYDNEY, August 29. George Thompson, aged 20, who escaped from Albury gaol, led detectives a thrilling chase early yesterday. The youth stole a racehorse from a stable at Holbrook. Tie was intercepted by a detective 18 miles away.
