PETER PAN CABARET.
The Peter Pan Cabaret, which opened in Auckland last week, was a very popular place on Saturday evening. Many of tho dancers wero visiting it for the first time and the charming surroundings, which aro in every way. different from anything Auckland has beforo seen in its cabarets, met with tho admiration of all present. Especially appreciated wero tho novel hidden lights over tho danco floor, which aro changed frequently during each danco. Tho orchestra was repeatedly encored for its enlivening music. Among, those present were:—Mrs. Ernest Alison, who wore a frock of eau de nil taffeta and net frilled panels; Mrs. Lowrie McGregor, white and blue floral taffeta with blue taffeta sash; Mrs. Montgomerie, gold lace frock with short jacket of the samo material; firs. C. B. Johnston, bois de rose georgette; Miss Maureen Fenwick, leaf green satin with short shoulder cape; fliss Nancy Gilmore, black petalled georgette with scarlet shoulder posy; fliss Inez Abdullah, buttercup 'fluted georgette; Miss Mona Craig, black frilled ling velvet with black trail of white gardenias; Miss R. Thomson, palm green georgette; Miss Friedlander, Chinese red and black patterned georgette; Miss Hildred Grahame, white and blacky georgette and lace: fliss Dorothy \Yalien, mist bluo georgette with rhinestone trimming; Miss Betty Johnston, cedar rose embossed georgette; fliss Isobel Armitage, black georgette with double flounced skirt of black georgette; Miss Dallas Hague-Smith, rose beige chenille georgette with fujl flared skirt banded in taffeta; Mrs. Alma Knight, maize gold flounced taffeta; fliss Anita Sutherland, parchment shaded taffeta with scarlet flowers; fliss Henley, black georgette with hip bow of blue taffeta; fliss Joy Hansen, ivory satin with pink shoulder spray; fliss Molly Woolcott, fuchsia taffeta and gold lame corsage; Miss Joan Sanderson, jade taffeta with insets of gold lace and gold tissue/shoulder rose; Miss B. Melville, lacquer red georgette with black and iec embroidered shawl; Miss Beale, flesh pmk souple satin; Miss Valerie Peacock, primrose frilled taffeta; Miss B McLaren, black beaded frock; Miss L. Martin, pea-cock-shaded georgette with embroidered side panels; Miss Edna Craig, apple green moire taffeta with rhinestone trimming; Miss Hilary Biss, pink taffeta and go d laco bodice: Miss Margaret O Connor, gold lace frock.
