ACTIVITIES AT TAURANCIA. PAYMENTS TO SUPPLIERS. [BY TELEGRAFH. —OWN CORRESPOND]: NT.] TAURANGA, Monday. The annual meeting of shareholders of the Tauranga Co-operative Dairy Association, Limited, was held to-day, Mr. L. Tollemache, chairman of directors, presiding over an attendance of about 250 suppliers. The total revenue last year from all sources amounted to £150,763. The output showed an increase of 160 tons over that of the previous season, the total being 1050 tons. When the final payments are made, the suppliers will have received an average payment of 1!>.22d per pound of butter-fat, including cream cartage. During the year considerable new plant was installed. A lease of property on the Waterfront has been taken, and it is intended to use the land as a site for a further factory when needed. The association possesses substantial assets, which include land valued at £400; factory buildings, £4500; factory dweUings, £1096; plant, £5800; office, £638. Messrs. W. J. White, V. Stacey and H. G. Lever were elected to the • three vacant seats on the directorate. Mr. C. Lowe was reappointed auditor. At a meeting of directors held after the annual meeting, Mr. L. Tollemache was re-elected chairman.
FACTORY AT TE AROHA.
REORGANISATION ANNOUNCED. [BY telegraph.—own correspondent.] TE AROHA, Monday, Tlie proprietary butter factory at Te Arotia, which has been in existence for six years, has been reorganised as a co-operative company In futuro it will be conducted under the name of the Thames Valley-To Aroha Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited. The board of directors is as follows: —Messrs. IL 0. Cooper . (Waihou), M. C. Smith (Hikutaia), W. 11. Emrnett (Manawaru), F. H. Sutton (Wnihi), C. A. Hayward (Waitakaruru), C. A. Asford (Thames). K is. Board (Te Aroha), and H. Mckean (Matamata). When tho Te Aroha Company commenced business its output for the fin>t. vear was 104 tons. Last year the. induction increased to 1745 tons. HIKURANGI COMPANY. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI, Monday. At a meeting of directors of the Hikurangi Dairy Company Mr. Luke Webb was elected chairman.
