Surrey: First innings, 158 (Mitchell five for 40); second innings, 110 (Slater fivo for 46). Derby won by 199 runs.

Somerset v. Kent.—Somerset: First innings, 147 (Freeman six for 80). Kent: First innings, nine for 207 (Hardingo 76, White seven for 81). Kent won on the first innings.
