BURMESE ATROCITIES.
INFURIATED NATIVES
STORY BY EYE-WITNESS
SYDNEY, July 25
Stories oi the days of horror during the riots in Burma were related by Mrs. N. Freeman on her arrival from Rangoon. She said that once four natives were caught by an infuriated mob near her husband's house and brutally murdered before her eyes. The attackers used long cane knives. They cut off their victims' arms to prevent retaliation in the next world. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman entertained Wing-Commander Kingsford Smith, Mr. C. P. Ulm, Mr. H. C. Chichester and Miss Amy Johnson at Rangoon.
