The Religious Tract Society has issued a revision of " Crudcn's Concordance," correcting many inaccuracies in previous editions. Tlio mutiny of the Bounty is to be dealt with in two separate books by Mr. Owen Butter. First Mr. Ratter is editing for tho "Famous Trials" series, the full report of the court-martial, and he is telling tho story in a novel called " Cain's Birthday." It, is intended to erect n memorial at Davos, in Switzerland, to James Elroy .I'lerker, the English poot, who died there in 1915. Flecker was a son of the Rev. W. H. I'lerker, formerly headmaster of Dean Closo School, Cheltenham. He was oniv thirty years old when he died. His drama, " Hassan," was produced in London with great success after his death. Miss Magda Yamos, who has translated from the Hungarian a recentlypublished biography, entitled "El Duce: |ho ,Life and Work of Benito Mussolini, is a young Czecho-Slovakian journalist. Although she is still in the early twenties, she speaks seven languages and has repreented a leading Hungarian newspaper at meetings of tho Leaguo of Nations. Miss Anita Loos, the author of "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," and its sequel, " But They Marry Brunettes," has written a new book, a title for which has not yet been decided. It is to be a burlesquo of lifo in Hollywood and Los Angeles, poking fun at the strange sect 3 and societies which abound in that part of the world. Miss Loos in private life is Mrs. Emerson.
