BEDFORDSHIRE PUDDING.
Take 3oz. lard or good beef dripping, 6oz. flour, two eggs, a tablespoonful sugar, 2oz. currants, 2oz. raisins, 5 pint boiling milk. Rub tho flour and lard together, and mix into a paste with a little cold water, roll it, and line a greased dish with it. Beat the eggs, sugar, and currants together, stir in the milk, pour into the lined dish, and placo at once in a hot even, and bake f hour; loosen -with a lnifa and slip it out -when done.
