THE HUSBAND LODGER.
In seeking advice of the magistrates at Willesden, a woman staled that her husband deserted her some years ago for another woman, and she almost forgot his existence and earned her living by letting lodgings. He applied to her for lodgings a few weeks ago, in tho ordinary way of business, and on that understanding sh» look him in.
Shortly afterwards, however, the man declared, " Well, now that I've got my foot in, I'm going to bo boss here." He refused either to pay or to leave, and his wife said she did not know what to do with liim.
The Magistrate: Lock him out, like any ordinary lodger who docs not pay, and if he causes any trouble call iu the police.
