Drumtaps wero Bounded for " Deadwood Dick " (Mr. It. Clarke), ns the sun sank behind the mountains he loved so well. It was Deadwood Dick's last wish that ho bo buriod, as ho lived, a lono wolf, and relatives and friends carried out this wish.

On Sunrise Mountain, a lofty peak overlooking the City of Deadwood, South Dakota, United States, Mr. Clarke's grave was blasted out of solid rock. Tho site is close to (he junction of tho Bismarck trail and the Pony Express trail between Pierro and Deadwood.
