Bradman, who quickly took his score of 100 at luncheon to 140, delighted (lie 5000 spectators who were present. The howling was sadly deficient in length. ITo and Woodfull added 193 runs for the second wicket and gave the fieldsmen a lively time. Jackson and a'Beckett added 67 for the sixth wicket, but otherwise the batsmen shaped badly.
