After consultation with the Health Department authorities, the school committee decided to-day to close the Oforohanga School for one week as a precautionary measure against the spread of scarlet fever.
It is stated that there is 110 cause for alarm as recent cases of scarlet fever arc of a mild nature. The children are forbidden to congregate at playing areas, and are to be kept at home. There arc over 400 pupils at the school.
