DINNER IN HAMILTON.

Members of (lie Hamilton Notary Club ■were the guests at a dinner given bv tlio Waikato sub provincial executive of the Fanners' Union in Hamilton last evening. The president of the union, Mr. ,J. If. Furniss, presided. The Mayor of Hamilton, Mr. J. K. tow, and members of the Il.imiltou Chamber of Commerce were also present. During the evening Mr. Furniss gave a short address, iu which he emphasised the necessity for co operation between town and country. Dr. 11. Douglas, president of the Rotary Club, outlined the objects of Rotary. Mr. 11. M. Rushworth, M.R., and Mr. D. Seymour, president of the Chamber of Commerce, also spoke.
