BEEKEEPERS' CONFERENCE.
SUPPORT FOR CONTROL. THE ELECTION OF OFFICERS. Tho final sitting of the conference of tho National Beekeepers' Association was held yesterday. Tlio committee set up to consider marketing was instructed to expedite tho passing of legislation for the regulation of marketing. On the motion of Mr. P. A. Hillary, a resolution was carried expressing the continued and strengthened confidence of members in tho Honey Export Control Board. The essay competition in connection with the Hopkins memorial fund resulted in (ho gold medal being awarded to Mr. P. A. Hillary. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. It. Gibb; vice-president, Mr. P. A. executive, Messrs. J. N. Schmidt and A. 11. Davies (North Island) and Messrs. E. Woods and W. Watson (South Island).
