Tho Taumarunui Hospital Board has decided to grant a cash rebate of Is a day off all patients* fees paid within 50 days after the patient leaves the hospital. A rebate of sixpence a day will bo made off children's accounts. The new tariff will not apply to members of the united friendly, societies,'the Ohura Medical Association, or maternity cases, and it is to be reviewed at the end of six months. It will operate front August 1, and is expected to induce greater promptness in settling accounts.
