IIINDE—KEBBELL. On April 23, at tho cathedral, Mombasa, tho wedding took placo of Harry Douglas ITinde, of Nanyuki, Kenya Colony, second son of tho late Major 11. N. Jlinde and Mrs. llir.de, of Wearo Giffard, to Cicely, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Kebboll, of Tehoe, Alfredton, New Zealand, states our London correspondent. YOUNG—WEBSTER, On May 17, at St. Melitus Church, Ealing, the wedding took place of Dr. Alister Laird Young (Wellington), to Miss Kewa Webster, states our London correspondent. The bride, who was given away by Mr. D. C. Peacock (Wellington), wore a dress of pearl satin, with tight-fitting bodice and long close-fitting sleeves, fhe Medici collar was of old lloniton lace. Tho bridal veil, of palest pink net, was arranged over a wreath of orange bios- j som. Her ornament was a diamond and : platinum pendant. The bridesmaids were , Miss Catherine Young and Miss Jessie Peacock, who were dressed ;.n blue chifton with satin slips, tho tight-fitting bodices being finished with a small cape. The skirts, very long and full, had panels of narrow blue Valenciennes lace. Their hats of biscuit colour had drooping brims, with a bow of blue velvet across the back. Each carried a small Victorian bouquet of roses, forget-me-nots, and carnations. The best man was Dr. Lan Ewart, and Mr. Douglas Young was groomsman. VERN ALL—CROMPTON. The marriage was celebrated by the Rev. Mr. Rogers, at First Church, Frankton, recently of Miss Erica Kathleen Croinpton, eldest daughter of Mrs. A. L. Crompton. of Frankton, and Mr. Acland Vera all, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Vernall, of Frankton. The bride, who was given away bv her brother, Mr. Roy Crompton, wore a frock of ivory crepe do chine and gcoigette, with a skirt of seven full flared peaks, falling in an uneven hemline, and the bodice was tight fitting, without sleeves and was finished with diamante trimming. Iler veil, which was of ivory tulle, fell in graceful folds over her shoulders and was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of whito roses, carnations, jonquils and asparagus fern, relieved with a touch of pink. In attendance as bridesmaids ivero Miss Hilda Crompton, sister of the bride, and Miss Mary Capel, of Auckland. They were dressed aliko in hats and frocks of Nile green and rose pink with flared skirts and points falling in an uneven hemline. They carried bou quets of pink and autumr.-tinted flowers with asparagus and maidenhair fern. Little Beverley Vernall, niece of tho bridegroom, was flower-girl. She was wearing a frock of heliotrope georgette, made with tiny frills. Her head-dress was worn over heliotropo and silver tulle finished with tiny flowers. She carried a basket of mryivo flowers. Mr. Clifford Vernall, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. Sydney Crompton was groomsman. After tho ceremony, a reception was held at Liberty Hall. Mrs. Crompton received her guests in a frock of brown wool crcpe do chine finished with apricot crepe do chine and hat to match. She carried a bouquet of autumn flowers and asparagus fern. Mrs. Vernall, mother of tho bridegroom, wore a frock of navy floral chiffon velvet with apricot georgette trimming and a navy felt hat to match.
