The Tauwliaro and Hautapu seniors played a hard-fought game, resulting in a win for Tauwliaro by 5 points (a try by F. Shaw, converted by Jefferieß) to an unconverted try by S. Miller. Tauwliaro is loading in the competition by two points from United. The Pukekoho Technical High School Old Boys' team is the winner this Beason of the Pukekohe Rutrby Union's championship, having defeated Ramblers on Saturdaf bv 10 points to 0. Tho two teams wero eaual at the head of tho competition prior to tho match, which thus created much interest, several hundred spectators being present. Play was even, with no scoring until approaching half-timo. Intercepting a pass by Fallows, Tordoff mado a good run, which set Ramblers on attack. Old Boys infringed, giving Ramblers a straight kick at goal from 30yds. out. However, tho ball went a little to one side of tho posts. Old Bo.vs secured possession from a scrum at Ramblers' twenty-five. Good passing saw tho ball roach Fallows, on tho wing. Thames continually got the ball from tho set scrums in tho second half, but, although Ake sent out some good passes, the Thames' five-eighths failed to make any penetration and invariably the movements lost ground. Teams representing tho Taumarunui District High School played intor-school matches at To Kuiti on Saturday. The secondary schools' match was "won by Te Kuiti by 24 points to 0, while a primary schools' game was also won by Te Kuiti by 6 points to 3.
