WAR-TIME MARRIAGE.
MAN ADMITS OFFENCE.

At the Police Court to-day Edward John Henry pleaded guilty to a charge of bigamy and was committed for sentence. The evidence showed that when he was 19 years old, and on leave from war service, lie married at Durham, England, in 1918, under the name of Howard. Ho later camo to New Zealand with his wife and they resided at Gore and Invercargill. There were six children alive. He left his wife in November and in April of this year married another girl in Dunedin, signing bis name as John William Henry.
