TWO PASSENGERS INJURED.

ACCIDENT AT PUTARURU.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUTARURU. Friday.

A head-on collision occurred at tho corner of Princes and Main Streets, Puta.ruru, at about 7.15 this evening, botween two motor-cars.' One car, a sedan, was driven by a Maori, Charles Ivaneta, and the other car .war, driven by Mr. D. C. Faulkner. Both men are employed by the New Zealand Perpetual Forests. Both cars were extensively damaged. There were two passengers in the front seat of tho sedan. One, a Maori named Makiri, was badly cut about the face and head. The other man, Mr. Cyril Newdick, had his left hand cut by glass. Both men were attended by Dr. Haslett, who states that the injuries arc not serious.
