ROCKY NOOK CROQUET.
•The annual meeting of the Rocky Nook Croquet Club, was held ou Tuesday, Juno 24. The report stated that a great amount of work had been carried out throughout the year, placing the club in a very sound financial position. The folowing officers wore elected: — . Patrons, Messrs. Eagleton, Tongue and Bouskill; president, Mrs. Tongue; vicepresidents, Mrs. Matthews, and Mrs. Wil-' son; lion, secretary, Mrs. Kcatley; lion, treasurer, Mrs. Barton; genoral committee, Mesdames Wakorloy, Harris, McAneny, Rutlcdgo, Preston, Barton, Keatley; delegates to Auckland Croquet Association, Mrs. Tonguo and Mrs, Keatley. The presentation of prizes won during last season took place, Air. Tongue officiating. The recipients wero as follows: — A championship, Mrs. Carson; B championship, Mrs. . McAneny; handicap singles, Mrs. Carson; handicap doubles, Mrs. Carson and Mrs. Kcatley; Laurel Cup, Mrs. McAneny; aggregate progressive A, Mrs. Wakorley, B, Mrs. Aughton. Presentations were also made to the secretary. Mrs. Kcatley, and treasurer, Mrs. Roylance, for services rendered, during the past season. In conclusion, Mr. Tonpfue, on behalf of tlio president, Mrs. Tongue, presented tlio club with a very handsome presidents' board and two honours boards for A and B championships.
