LIKE ARTIFICIAL SJLK. SHOWN TO NEW.- ZEALANDERS. LONDON. lunar 25. A party of 17 New Zealand wool growers and buyers" were guided by Dr. S. Barber through the British, Wool Research Association's laboratories at Torridon. He astonished them by showing scintillating silver wool exactly liks glossly artificial silk. Dr. Barber said the association was trying to produce a fabric that would appeal to women who demanded a woollen fabric whiqh did not tickle the skin.
