Excellent entries were received for the Franklin Poultry Gab's annual show, ■which opened to-day, and continues tomorrow. There is first-class competition, poultry fanciers from ail parts of the Auckland Province and from as far south as Otane, Hawke's Bay, and Stratford, Taranaki, having sent birds. The utility section attracted the largest entry, and there is also a good display of fancy poultry, pigeons, geese, pheasants and eggs. Following is the list of awards:— SPECIAL TBOPHTES.
