BANK OFFICERS' GUILD.

THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE. INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] "WELLINGTON, Thursday. Tho eleventh annual conference of tho New Zealand Bank Officers' Guild was opened by the Mayor, Mr. G. A. Troup. Mr. R. A. Dixon, the president, was in tho chair and there were present 18 delegates from various parts of tho Dominion. The annual report stated that the membership was 2685 and was steadily increasing. The statement of accounts showed that the accumulated funds amounted to £2201. The following officers were elected: — Prosident, Mr. R. A. Dixon (Wellington) ; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. H. M. Stewart (Auckland), J. B. Thorp (Wellington!, W. W. Wrightson (Christchurch), W. G. Hulston (Dunedin); executive com' littee, Messrs. C. J. Hawkins, A. R. Frothoy, H. J. Edwards, E. C. Fussell, C. B. Matthewson, K. T. Thompson, G. F. Loney, E. C. Little and J. Stemhnuse, all of Wellington; auditor, Mr. &. T. A. Scott. At the conclusion of the conference, following the usual custom, the delegates waited on the heads of their respective institutions and discussed with them matters of common interest arising out of tho deliberations of the conference.
