CHARITABLE BEQUESTS.
THAMES LADY'S WILL. GOOD CAUSES TO BENEFIT. A number of bequests to charitable institutions both in Britain and in New Zealand are provided for in the will of Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth Simmonds, of Thames, who died on June 6. She has left sums of £4OO to • St. Dunstan's Hostel for Blind Soldiers, London; £4OO for the assistance of wounded and disabled New Zealand soldiers; and £IOO for wounded sailors of the British Empire. Dr. Barnado's Homes are to - receive £3OO, the Royal Lifeboat Institution of England £IOO, the Auckland Young Women's and Young Men's Christian Associations each £IOO, the Thames Hospital £IOO and the Thames Soldiers' Memorial fund £SO. A sum of £IOO has been bequeathed to the Little Sisters of the Poor by Mrs. Caroline Fitzpatrick, of Epsom, who died on May 17. Mr. Daniel Parker, of Coromandel, who died on November 21 last left sums of £lO each to the Coromandel Methodist Church and to the Coromandel Hospital.
