CYCLISTS INJURED.

COLLISION WITH MILK VAN. EARLY MORNING ACCIDENTS. A collision between a motor-cycle and a stationary milk van at the corner, of New North Road and Selkirk Road at about 6.30 yesterday morning resulted in the admission to the Auckland Hospital of the cyclist, Sir. Edward Fitall, aged 29, married, of 29, Ennismore Road, Mount Albert. He was thrown heavily and received severe head injuries. The driver of the van, Mr. E. Murphy, was serving a customer when the accident occurred and on returning to the van found Mr. Fitall lying unconscious on the road. The injured man was taken to hospital in a fairly serious condition, but it was reported last evening that ho was making satisfactory progress. YOUTH FALLS FROM CYCLE. SNAPPING OF FRONT FORK. Another case of a cyclist being injured through the snapping of the front fork of a bicycle occurred yesterday. Eric MacPherson, aged 17, of 54, College Hill, received severe head injuries through falling in this manner when ho was riding down Franklin Ro»d at about 7.30 yesterday morning. He was admtted to the Auckland Hospital and last evening it was reported that his' condition was still serious.
