VISIT TO EUROPE PLANNED.

PROPOSAL BY HEADMISTRESS A visit to Europe next year is proposed, by Miss E. M. Johnston, headmistress of the Auckland Girls' Grammar School Miss Johnston intends to study education methods abroad and to visit several schools and institutions. An application for leave of absence from February 1 until September 30, 1931, was received from Miss Johnston by the Auckland Grammar School Board yesterday. It was decided to forward the application to the Minister of Education for Jiis approval.
