Mr. J. Watanabe, representative of tho Osaka Shosen Kaisha, a Japanese shipping firm, returned yesterday from a visit to Rotorua, aird is at the Grand Hotel. Ho will leave by tho Maunganui to-day for Sydney.
The Right Hon. J. G. Coates, Leader of the Opposition, who arrived from Dargaville on Wednesday, left by motor-car yesterday morning for Taranaki. He has engagements at New Plymouth, Hawera, Waverley and Wanganui.
