BUSINESS PREMISES BURNED.

A fire occurred at 3.30 p.m. M-day at the premises of Morris. Heastrom. Limited, the packing department and sheds being burnt down.
Strenuous work by the police ana others resulted in tee adjacent mam store beimj saved with the manager s residence in the upper storey. A new manager, Mr. A. G. amyth, arrived at Apien Saturday and uOck over from the retiring manager, Mr. Johnson.
The actual amount of the damage is not known, but little was saved in the buildines destroyed.
