RINGS AND WATCHES TAKEN.
HOLE CUT IN GLASS DOOR.

Within full view of passers-by a daring robbery took placo in tho heart of the city between six and seven o'clock last evening, when for tho third timo in 12 months entrance was forced into the shop of Alox and Company, jewellers and watchmakers, in Parish Street. Somo diamond rings and watches were stolen. A hole abmit Gin square was cut in tho thick plate,gloss of tho doorway close to tho handle. Several motor-cars wero parked in tho vicinity about tho time the burglary took place, and considering tho number of people who used the street* it is difficult to understand the thieves wore not seen. ■
