COUNCIL STAFF SALARIES.

OPPOSITION TO INCREASE.

Criticism of the proposed increase in the salaries of members of the Takapuna Council office staff was expressed at the monthly meeting of the Takapuna Area Ratepayers' and Residents' Association. No exception was taken to an increase in the salary of the junior members of the council staff, but a resolution was passed protesting against any increase in tho salary of the already wellpaid mombers.
