RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR.
TO REMAIN ON THE BOARD.
The resignation of Mr. E. V. "Reid, managing director of Dalgety and Company, Limited, has been accepted by the board of directors, according to advice
received from London yesterday by the Auckland offico of the company. The resignation is to take effect from the end of this month, but. Mr. Reid will remain on the board as deputy-chair-man of directors and his seryices will be availablo to the company in a consultative capacity. Mr. Reid was formerly London manager of Dalgoty's and then general manager before ho was appointed managing director. No information has been received concerning the steps taken to fill the position now boing vacated by Mr. Reid. <
