DISPLAY AT PALMERSTON.
LARGE NUMBER OF ENTRIES.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday.
Tho 28th National Dairy Show was begun this morning in glorious weather and mild and sunny conditions. Thero is a largo and comprehensivo display in all sections with excellent entries. The show lasts until Saturday evening. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, who is to day engaged in a round of visits, will open the show to-morrow, when ho will bo the guest of tho Manawatu Agricultural and Pastoral Association at luncheon. To-day ho was entertained by tho civic authorities at luncheon.
