BOY CYCLIST'S DEATH.

COLLISION NEAR HOME. FRACTURE OF THE SKULL, Following a collision between the bicycle 110 was riding and another bicycle a few yards from his homo ion Tuesday evening, Bertie Brown, aged 16, who resided with his parents at 47, Williamson's Avenue, Ponsonby, died in tho Auckland Hospital last evening. The accident occurred shortly before 6 p in. on Tuesday, when tho lad was ! riding toward his home. Ho collided with another machine, and was thrown heavily on his head, receiving a fracture of tho skull. Ho was taken to tho hospital in an unconscious condition. Ho did not regain consciousness, and death occurred at nino o'clock last evening.
