The following remits were carried at tho annual conference of tho New Zealand Educational Institute to-day:—That the institute reaffirms the right of appeal against non-appointment. That the institute reaffirms that the executive.bo called upon to resist any attempt to weaken tho authority of the grading list as tho basis of promotion.
