PLUNKET SOCIETY.
DIRECTORS' RESIGNATION.
[BV TELEGPAI'H.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
"WELLINGTON, Tuesday
.The reason for the resignation of Dr. T. Derrick from the position of medical director of the Piunket Society is not that the work has entailed too great a strain on his health, but that the constant. travelling involved has proved 100
great a strain. Until Sir 'J ruby King returns from the visit he is now making to England Dr. Derrick has agreed to continue I,hat portion of the work he has been doing for the Piunket Society %\'hich can be done without travelling and to act generally as medical adviser ■to the society. Ho intends to rcsumo practice in Auckland in tho near future.
