EXPECTED DEFICITS.
FINANCE IN AUSTRALIA.
FORECAST BY MR. STEVENS.
SYDNEY. May 13. In tho course of a speech at Eastwood, tho New South Wales Treasurer, Mr. 15. S. Stevens,, forecast a deficit in all the public funds of £4,000,000 at the end of tho present financial year. The Treasurer said he also expected the Commonwealth would have a total deficit of £9,000,000.
