TRAMWAY ROUTES.

Sir,—ln support of the suggestion o{ Mr. Mueller that the trams from Mount Eden and Dominion Road should make use of Anzae Avenue, may I press the claim that all Ponsonby cars should run down Street and up Hobson Street? The inward tickets should terminate at Hotel Auckland and the outward section commence at. the Civic Theatre. Also all Point Chevalier cars running up Queen Street as at present should have the inward tickets available to the Civic Theatre. There is - absolutely no need for car lines in Albert Street. Let the Transport Board make intelligent use of the present lines and there will be no need to expend large sums on useless extensions. I strongly urge a month's trial of the above suggestions and Lope the economy in time, power and ease of handling the traffic will commend them to the proper authorities.' Pegascs.
