OBITUARY.
MRS. ROSE SHAW.
[BY TELEGItAriI.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Tuesday. The death occurred on Sunday at It am araina of ill's. Rose Shaw, in'her 89th year. Mrs. Shaw was born at Hokianga four years after the arrival in New Zealand of her parents, Mr, and Mrs. William Belling. About 63 years ago she married the late Mr. Silas Shaw, who was engaged in farming at Wainku. Subsequently he moved to Kerikeri, and later to Flat Bush. During tlio past 17 years she had lived with her son, Mr. George Shaw, at Kamarama. Mrs. Shawis survived by two sons and three daughters. There nro 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. MRS. ALEXANDER BOYLE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —I'IIESS ASSOCIATION. | CIIRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The death occurred this evening after a brief ill.iess of Mrs. Alexander Boyle, 0.8. E., president of tlio women's branch of the Canterbury Centre oi Hie Red Cross Society, president of the women's branch of the Navy League, ami president and foundation member of the Christ - church Ladies' Golf Club. She is survived by two sons, Commander A. D. Boyle, of Timaru, and Mr. A. P. Boyle, of Waimate, and two daughters, Mrs. Algar Williams and Miss Phyllis Boyle, of Christchurcn.
