CAR CRASHES INTO CROWD.
THREE DEAD AT BROOKLANDS

LONDON, May 9
Three people were killed and several spectators were, injured in a sensational accident at Brooklands during a 24 hours' test in which 59 racers were competing.
Two Talbots, an Alfa Romeo and an Austin car wore racing at a speed of more than 80 miles an hour when a Talbot driven by. Rabagliatti skidded and was hurled over a fertce among the crowd, killing the mechanic, Allery, also a man and a woman in the crowd. Tho occupants of tho Talbot close behind had miraculous escapes. Their car crashed into tho wreckage, but they crawled out practically unhurt. Mr. Woolf Barnato's two Bentleys were first and second at the end of the day. They averaged 90 miles an hour. Forty-one cars are still in tho race, of which six aro French and Italian.
