REVIVAL OF A SEARCH.
MYSTERY OF COLONEL FAWCETT

The search for Colonel Fawcett, the English explorer, who disappeared in tho Brazilian jungle in 1925, while searching for the lost Continent of Atlantis, is being revived by Captain A. 11. Morris, a British Army officer, who conducted the previous search.
"I shall enlist tho services of a handful of natives \% lio went with me before," Captain Morris savs. "I shall make for Paraguay. My last message to civilisation will he' from 'Black Horse Camp,' where F expect to pick up traces of Faw-ci-tt. The stories (if his fate seem unsatisfactory to me. L have travelled so much in tirazil (hat the natives know me; wo will, [ believe, glean much from them. . "If Colonel Fawcett was killed, we expect to find traces of him. Ho more probably was overtaken by fever and deserted by his followers. There is a possibility of bis still being alive. ITo may have undergone hardships so severe that his reason was temporarily affected, and may ho still lost in the wilds of the interior." *
