NEW ZEALAND LOAN.
ISSUE OF PROSPECTUS. FAVOURABLE PRESS COMMENT.
(Received May 5, 30,55 p.m.) LONDON, May 5.
The prospectus of New Zealand's £5,500,000 loan has been issued.
The Morning Post's financial correspondent expresses the opinion that the loan should be attractive to trustees and others searching for a well-secured return of just over 5 per cent, for nearly 25 years. Ho adds that New Zealand fortunately is free from labour troubles. It is interesting to note, ho says, that even May Day passed without a single 'demonstration in the Dominion.
The Financial News says the issue is distinctly attractive and early application is advisable:
The Financial Times New Zealand's credit stands high and the surrounding circumstances appear to be auspicious for this trustee investment.
