ROTORUA NOTES.

BRIDGE EVENING. A very pleasant evening was spent at the home of Mrs. Dannefaerd, of Arawa Street, on Thursday, a number of friends being entertained at a bridge party. Mrs. Dannefarrd received her guests wearing a frock of brown charmeuse; Miss Dannefaerd wore rose-shaded floral ninon, and Miss Lee Dannefaerd was in autumn-shaded floral ninon. Progressive bridge was played, the first prize going to Mrs. C. Hitchcock, and the. consolation prize to Mrs. Russell-Gardiner. Anions those .present were:—Mrs. A. Shaw, Mrs. C. Hitchcock, Miss K. Hall, Miss C. Moore, Miss McKenzie, Miss ,T. Pearce, Miss J. Giesen. Miss P. St. Clair, Miss Steele, Miss V. Holland. Miss D. Griffiths, Miss Jsdalo, Miss M. Cooney, Miss G. Booth.
