SEAMAN ARRESTED.

ARRIVAL FROM SYDNEY. Following his arrest when the Aorangi arrived from Sydney yesterday, John Thompson, aged 42, seaman, was charged in tho Police Court yesterday with stowing away on Hie Aorangi. Sub-Inspector Shanahan said accused, who claimed to be a New Zealander, had apparently stowed awnv a), Sydney. There was, however, some doubt as to whether ho was a New Zealander and inquiries would have to be made. Accused was remanded until Thursday.
