NAME STRUCK OFF REGISTER.

FIVE YEARS' BAN IMPOSED

An application by the board of the Medical Council of New Zealand to have (be name of Dr. Baldev Singh Share removed from the register of medical practitioners, on the ground that Share bad been convicted of an indictable offence punishable by imprisonment for two years with hard labour, was granted by Mr. Justice Herdinan in the Supremo Court yesterday. Mr. Meredith appeared for the Medical Council.

Share was not represented, but had filed an affidavit protesting his innocence. His Honor said a jury had found Share guilty and bo had no doubt that the finding was a correct one. In granting tho application, he made a. proviso that application for readmission could not lie made within fivo years.
