COMMENT ON CRITICISM. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] BLENHEIM, Saturday. The following communication has been received in Blenheim from Mr. W. .T. Poison, M.P., telegraphed from Oamaru: "I observe in the press a strong attack by the Marlborough Farmers' Union on
myself because of my attitude on the railway (South Main Trunk) question. As 1 am due to speak in Blenheim on May 14, would it not bo reasonable to wait and hear what I Jiavo to say before condemning it, instead of judging by a necessarily abbreviated news summary? "I .may. add that after my addresses audiences of farmers and others in tho south have passed unanimous votes pf confidence in me and in what I stand for."
