NOVEL EXPEDITION.
MOTOR-CYCLING TO POLE. NORWEGIAN PARTY'S PLAN* OSLO, April 1L N Major Gran, an airman, who was ai member of Scott's expedition of 1910, is planning an attempt to reach the South Pole by motor-cycle. Accompanied by threo companions Major Gran proposes to fly from Granite Bay, Ross Sea, to the Plateau. Thence the four men will proceed on motorcycle. Each will tow a sledge carrying provisions.
