DEATH IN TUNNEL.
WORKMAN ELECTROCUTED. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. An inquest was held yesterday at Tangarakau, before Mr. W. L. Kennedy, coroner, concerning the death of Timothy O'Kcefe, Public Works employee, who was found dead in Number 3 tunnel on the Stratford Main Trunk line. A verdict was returned that death was due to an oleetric shock accidentally received, no blame being attachable to anyone. Until 1 a.m. on Friday Mr. O'Keefo was working with companions, who left him alone at that time. At 3 a.m. he was found lying beside an electric light standard, and subsequent examination showed that he had been electrocuted.
