SERVICE TO AUSTRALIA.

£6 FOR THREE MINUTES' TALK.

LONDON, April 2

It is understood that the Post Office" authorities propose to commence the beam wireless telephone service to Australia with a charge of £6 for three minutes' conversation, but this will probably be reduced earlv in 1931.

It is expected that the service will be available for about six hours a day at. the beginning, increasing slightly during the summer, and later being reduced to a few hours. '
